What the app does

Kalorist helps you record what you eat and estimate its calories. Every number — calories, protein, carbs, fat, your daily target — is an estimate, not a measurement.

This is not a medical service

The app does not diagnose, does not treat, and does not replace a doctor or a dietitian. If you are pregnant, have a chronic condition or an eating disorder, or take medication, speak to a doctor before changing how you eat.

Age

The app is available from age 18.

Subscription

Subscriptions are sold through the App Store or Google Play and are governed by their terms. After the trial a subscription renews automatically until you cancel — cancellation happens in your store settings, not in the app. Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal; agreeing to immediate delivery of digital content brings that right to an end.

Your content

Your photos and records remain yours. We use them only to provide the service to you — never in advertising, and never for another user.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. This does not limit liability for injury to life, body or health.

Changes

We will tell you in the app before any material change to these terms.

Governing law

German law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
